Fuckup Nights is a global movement and event series that shares stories of professional failure. Each month, in events across the globe, we get three to four people to get up in front of a room full of strangers to share their own professional fuckup. The stories of the business that crashes and burns, the partnership deal that goes sour, the product that has to be recalled, we tell them all.

Most people fuck up at some point...and most people live to tell the tale.

Fuckup Nights is a global movement and event series that shares stories of professional failure. professional failure. Events across the globe get 3 or 4 people to get up in front of a room full of strangers to share their own professional fuckup/mistake. The stories of the business that crashes and burns, the partnership that goes sour, the product that has to be recalled, stories like these will all be told.

At this third event we wil have three fabulous speakers who are going to share their mistakes. No happy ending for any of these three stories!

  • Sam Bloom - Alcohol, when is enough, enough? Come and hear how fucked up it nearly got!

  • Francis Davis - from redundancy in 2005 to £20m a year in 2012! How bad choices made in 2006 found Francis in 2014 in the ICU of a Portuguese hospital, unable to walk, insolvent and facing a medical bill of £80,000 with no way home!
  • James White - how his software company valued at £2.5m became one worth peanuts just years later. A fuckup on what not to do with a SaaS business

Sam has worked in several different roles and sectors throughout her career. She loves to have a good time and always has, but, when did it stop becoming a good time and start to become a hindrance? How has this journey affected her, and where is she now?

Francis has been described as a serial entrepreneur, a romantic, and a lifelong cyclist. A successful salesman for nearly 40 years, Francis has always been up for a challenge in business and life. Come and hear the tale of how he and his two business partners first entered the world of tablet computing in 2006, took on the likes of Dell and Apple (the 1st generation iPad was released in 2010), and almost won!

James built up a thriving online software business over 13 years of hard graft including raising £0.5m of investment and getting the company to just under £1m of recurring revenue with over 4000 customers in 42 countries worldwide before it all went to shit! Find out what happened and what he got wron

Let's change the narrative, let's #ShareTheFailure and learn from it.
