I never imagined that our internal speakers would share something so personal. They have achieved an incredible change in the way they have presented their stories. The storytelling was incredible. It was playful but disruptive; they were not seen as managers but as storytellers.

FuckupNights is all about authenticity, talking about feelings, and showing them openly. This is where the movement happens.

Fuckup Nights in Zadar been a real success, bringing together different groups of people on different occasions, but with a common goal. That goal was to share stories that could show how failure is nothing to be ashamed of and encourage others to dive into the process of doing it, without fear of the barriers that might appear along the way. In the Zadar community, thinking outside the box is not common, so the Fuckup Nights initiative had an even greater impact, taking this into account.

From events on real stages to online events and back to physical events. I started my FUN journey in 2018 as a guest at Fuckup Nights Alborg in Denmark. I have always been outgoing and wanted to get on that stage. So I decided to look for a local alternative here in Hamburg, Germany. There were no events planned, no one to contact, so I would do it myself! I started the Fuckup Nights chapter in Hamburg in 2019, and our first event sold out in three days. That showed me: "Damn it, Robert, there is a need for these kinds of events!"

Fuckup Nights masterfully brings people together in a setting where they can discuss failure, inevitably resulting in extraordinary evenings filled with memorable stories and lessons learned. The motto "Failure sucks, but it teaches" is something we take seriously at Fuckup Nights, and we strive to ensure that everyone goes home a little smarter and ready for tomorrow.
