Innovation and Learning: Globant Event and Fuckup Nights

Talking about failure in a corporate environment remains a challenge. At Globant, where innovation and digital transformation are fundamental, learning from failure is essential.

Today, Globant has over 28,900 professionals across more than 30 countries, working with companies like Google, Rockwell Automation, Electronic Arts, and Santander, among others.

In collaboration with the Fuckup Nights Buenos Aires team, we hosted a private event where Globers—Globant’s team members—  shared real stories of projects that didn’t go as planned.

When Failure Becomes Part of the Journey

"When we start working, we quickly realize that mistakes become taboo."

At Globant, challenging the status quo is part of the culture, and this event was the perfect opportunity to prove it. The Globers who took the stage shared, with full transparency, how they navigated tough moments and what they did differently the next time.

"Those who take action make mistakes. What truly matters is what you do afterward."

A Format That Truly Connects

With an audience of over 600 people, took place in a hybrid format in Buenos Aires. We worked closely with Globant’s speakers to carefully shape and refine their stories, peeling back the layers  to reveal the core of each experience: vulnerability.

JAO Oyhanart, Javier Alejandro Mordcovich and Roberto Miguel Chavez shared their experiences, where decision-making, time pressure, and the constant evolution of the digital world played a key part in achieving their mission: Creating digital products that people love 💚.

The lessons shared on stage opened space for a collective reflection on the highs and lows of 2024 and the challenges and innovation opportunities ahead in 2025.. As Guibert Englebienne, co-founder of Globant, shared on social media:

"There is no growth without setbacks, and no learning without mistakes."

Turning Failure into Opportunities

The stories shared by the Globers created a space for learning and reflection, offering tools to turn any failure into a competitive advantage.

What defines Globers is their ability to recover from setbacks, rather than their ability to avoid them altogether, empowering them to move forward with greater intelligence and resilience.

At Fuckup Nights and Globant we know it well: success isn't about avoiding failure, but about learning from it to create something better. And if there’s one thing we’re sure of, it’s that this won’t be the last stumble—nor the last lesson.

See you at the next challenge. 🚀
