That was the challenge SKAN  —  a leading company in bio-pharmaceutical technology— brought to us. 

With offices and teams across Japan, Switzerland, Germany, Brazil, Belgium, Poland, and the U.S., SKAN saw its 50th anniversary not just as a milestone, but as a unique opportunity to strengthen inspiration and global team cohesion.

That’s how oneSKAN: The Summit— a 2-day global experience with over 300 participants where  Fuckup Nights facilitated 8 immersive sessions focused on reframing failure as a path to innovation and shared learning.

How did we design this experience for SKAN’s global team?

Every session was intentionally crafted to create emotional impact and reflection among participants, inspiring them to see failure differently through:

• Short talks with real failure stories told by internal SKAN team members.
• A mindset-opening keynote by Pepe Villatoro (CEO and Co-Founder of Fuckup Nights) to kick off each session.
• A close moderation that encouraged vulnerability and spontaneous participation.

Aligning a Global Team in 2 days Through Failure and Learning

In just two days, Fuckup Nights achieved something that seemed highly complex: aligning over 300 team members from different countries through meaningful conversations. 

Far from conventional corporate talks, this space allowed colleagues to share their failure stories with honesty — fostering empathy, trust, and new ways to connect.
