Welcome to your “Sales and Communication Strategies” course from Mujeres Sin Filtro. In this video, we’ll answer two key questions: What needs to happen for your potential customer to buy from you? And what should you do at each stage of the sales process?
The foundation of sales and marketing strategies is what is known as a sales funnel or conversion funnel. A sales funnel is a diagram that shows where your customers are in the decision-making process. As you move down the funnel, the number of potential customers decreases.
Different types of strategies are needed to attract your ideal customer. We must take their profile into account, but we also need to consider where they are in their purchasing decision process. To do this, it’s important that you know:
This stage involves promoting your brand or service through online marketing strategies: content creation, SEO optimization, and social media engagement. The goal is to attract as many users as possible to your website or blog.
The goal at this stage is to keep your ideal customers on your website for as long as possible and engage them. It’s also crucial that they sign up or become leads. Once you have their information, you can follow up with them and send them useful content via newsletters —but not too often, or you’ll lose them.
Sales are the most important goal, which involves turning the audience into actual customers. In this specific case, we can also refer to this stage of the conversion funnel as the “sales funnel.”
At this stage, the focus is on post-sale support. You should strive to ensure that customers who have already purchased from you are satisfied, return to buy again, and recommend you to others. This is what is known as “increasing customer value.”
In conclusion, every stage your ideal customer is in represents an opportunity to show them how you will help them achieve their goals and overcome their challenges.
